Walk for Life Frequently Asked Questions

The deadline to be an Event Sponsor is June 5th in order for us to get your company/business info. included on the walker t-shirts & center banner. 

Please send your company/business name & logo to events@oasisofmedina.com no later than June 5th. 

If you would like to come alongside us as a sponsor and/or donate to this fundraiser, you can find more info/details by clicking on the tab at the top of this website titled “Event Sponsorship/Donation Form”. The deadline to be an event sponsor for the event is June 5th. You are welcome to make a donation towards this event up until July 9th.

If you are interested in donating promotional items for the first 100 registered walkers’ goodie bags, you can do so by filling out the “Event Sponsorship/Donation Form” above. 

Some examples of promotional items or goodies you can donate are keychains, pens, coupons, magnets, magazines, business cards, sunglasses, soap, candles, lip balm, fruit snacks, bottled water/energy drinks, etc. 

We are also collecting gift certificates for the winning walker & team with the most raised funds. If you would like to donate any gift cards, you can also do so by filling out the “Event Sponsorship/Donation Form” above. 

We need all promotional items & gift certificates by June 16th. 

To sponsor a walker, click on the “Walker + Prayer Walk Registration” button above. After clicking on that button, you will be taken to a new web page where there will be a “Donate” button. Click on that button and then search for the walker you would like to support. You will be taken to that walker or team’s personal fundraising page, where you can make a donation. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions you may have. 

You can walk anytime between June 20th and 28th. Walk wherever you would like! Take a strenuous hike or a leisurely stroll through your neighborhood, at the park, or at the beach. 

Our Prayer Walk is simply a time of prayer around the center that is being held on the last day of the event, June 28th, from 3-5 pm. 

Come by yourself or come as a group to pray over the center. 

If you would like to be a part of the prayer walk, please indicate so on our registration form by checking “Yes” under our prayer walk prompt. 

Simply register BEFORE June 8th to receive a free walk t-shirt! 

If you are one of the first 100 walkers, you will receive a confirmation email. Walker t-shirt & Goodie Bag pick-up will be on Thursday, June 18th, between 5:30 and 7:30 PM at Oasis of Hope (710 N. Court Street, Medina). 

The Walker Goodie Bag is a bag that the first 100 registered walkers will receive (along with their walk t-shirt). 

You will be notified via email if you are one of the first 100 walkers to register. 

Your Walker Goodie Bag can be picked up on Thursday, June 18th, between 5:30 and 7:30 PM at Oasis of Hope (710 N. Court Street, Medina). Please drive around to the back of the building to our pick-up station.
